Mandurah Plein Air Artists Inc. (MPAA)

Mandurah Plein Air Artists (Inc) was established in 2011 and is a not-for profit self-funded community art organization.

The group meets each Tuesday morning to paint en plein air and as well as providing a fun and interesting environment, it provides a platform for connection with like-minded people.

We are an active, motivated group with constant activities, events and exhibitions.

Plein Air Down Under (PADU), Outdoor Painting Festival

The group hosts Plein Air Down Under, an annual outdoor painting festival, to be held from 17-24 September 2024, in Mandurah, the historic town of Pinjarra and the wider Peel Region. The festival features workshops, feature guest artists, exhibitions, awards and prizes and outdoor painting for all ages.

World Wide Paint Out

Outdoor painters from far and wide are invited to paint in Mandurah on 7 and 8 September 2024 as part of the 22nd International Plein Air Painters Worldwide Paint Out. Artists of all skill levels and mediums are invited to take part in this free event, which runs from 10 am till 2pm each day. Bring your own paints and materials and join the fun. All ages are welcome, and the public are invited to watch individual artists work, moving from painter to painter throughout the day. Read more at: http://ipap.homestead.com/paintout.html

Aim of the Group

The aim of the group is to provide a friendly environment and foster the development and enjoyment of plein air painting through practice, mentoring, workshops and exhibitions.
